Every day our inbox fills with amazing local businesses who want to trade, collaborate and make a statement at one of our events. Chefs, makers, bar brands, riggers, florists, bands, photographers, glamping outfits — and we read every one.
The honest problem is that when a brief lands, it needs answering in days, not months. So we procure from a whitelist: a curated shortlist of businesses who have told us what they do, what they charge and where they work. It is the first and often the only place we look. Running it this way keeps procurement fast and fair, and it means the businesses who back us get the work.
One list. A whole year of events.
The Chew Valley Estate runs a portfolio of events across the year, not one weekend in July. Being on the whitelist means you are shortlisted for all of them.
Three festivals a year
Valley Fest and two further festivals on the estate: food, music, families and 10,000+ people who care where things come from.
A calendar of weddings
Lakeside weddings through the season — caterers, florists, styling, bars, bands, photographers and marquees.
Private and corporate events
Away days, dinners, launches and celebrations hosted on the farm, each one procured from the list.
A three-month glamp site
Every summer the estate runs a glamp site as standard — bell tents, furnishing, cleaning, catering, wellness and activities.
What £69 gets you
- First call on every brief. When we procure for any event on the estate, the whitelist is where we look first.
- Shortlisted across the whole portfolio — festivals, weddings, private and corporate events and the glamp site — from one registration.
- A real person in the loop. We work closely with every supply partner during procurement to make sure you get a satisfactory return on your membership.
- Briefs with budgets and dates, sent straight to you, so you only spend time on work that fits.
- Priority for talent too. Artists, bands, DJs and performers on the list are the first names put to our bookers.
- No commission, no exclusivity. The fee is the whole cost. What you win is yours.
Membership runs 12 months from payment. It does not renew automatically — we email you before it’s due.
