Owl Art (14+) 16:00 – 17.00

Come and dissect an owl pellet and make some beautiful bone art.

The pellets have been collected from a nearby nesting box attached to a Yeo Valley barn where a pair of Barn owls have made their home. The pellets have been dried out so you can pull them apart and find the many teeny tiny bones from a vole, mouse, shrew, bird or even a frog. We will discover what animals the owls have been feasting on by using identification sheets. The perfect bones can then be delicately arranged into a small unique piece for you to take away.
