Saturday

The Community Farm Tour 10:00 – 11:00

Join members of the team for the infamous Community Farm Tour – where you’ll learn all about what happens on the farm and in the community during this fabulous walking tour around the land.

Bee and Wildlife Walk 10:30 – 11:30

Take a tour around the farm and learn about all that they do for wildlife – see the planting for bees and butterflies and other beneficial insects, learn about the bumblebee monitoring they do and see where the wild birds have chosen to live.  This session is followed by a session in the roundhouse to make natural bird-feeders using organic bird seed mix, peanut butter and orange halves (aimed at children).

The Community Festival Farmer 11:00 – 12:00; 13:00 – 14:00; 15:00-16:00

Join the Community Farm Field team on the fields for some farming action; Ian our Community Farmer will guide you through the farm, nibbling as you go, followed by an activity to help Ian with the days farming.
