Stephanie Kempson is a writer, storyteller and theatre-maker. She has performed stories at Bristol Old Vic, the Lyric Hammersmith, The Wardrobe Theatre, Valleyfest, Mayfest Radio, BCFM, Ujima Radio, and BBC Introducing in the West. She often blends song amongst her spoken word and collaborates with musicians. Her directing credits include Score for Documental Theatre (Winner ‘Toast of Plymouth Fringe’, performed at Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre, represented Devon at BAC’s A National Theatre Festival), Pulling Out for Documental Theatre (National tour to theatres and custodial institutions), Eclipse for Creative Youth Network, Spooky Ship for Bristol Old Vic and SS Great Britain, as well as outreach productions for Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory Theatres and Theatre Royal Bath. She is on commission as a writer by Part Exchange Theatre Company and a resident at the Pervasive Media Studio. Her company Sharp Teeth Theatre is an associate company at Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol.
