We couldn’t wait until August so we’re throwing a party in Bristol on Friday 24th March! What better way to celebrate coming out of the cold dark winter and throwing the green-hinged door of spring wide open than a good old knees up?
Taking place at The Exchange in Bristol, the night is being headed up by Brummie misfits The Destroyers – described by Songlines magazine as ‘blow your mind original’ they are sure to whip us all up into a frenzy with their legendary live show. BBC 6music’s Steve Lamacq describes them as “the sort of rogues who would take you out for a night, fill you full of mead, strip you to your underwear and then tie you to a lamp-post.”
Support comes from Bristol brass-band luminaries the Brass Junkies, offering their unique take on pop and funk hits with a massive dose of New Orleans style. And rounding off the night is DJ Ru Robinson. Ru is recognised for his high energy DJ sets, offering a broad collection of global beats with dash of funk, dancehall and swing.
We will also be bringing our delicious 100% organic Midnight Feasts which you can buy on the night for just £5.
And we want to add some sparkle to the occasion so we want you to come in your best glittery gear – everyone who comes in a glittery outfit will be rewarded with a delicious Yeo Valley ice cream.
Tickets are available from £8 from Headfirst Bristol.
