Our friends at The Community Farm, near Bristol, have been picked by the National Lottery to bid for £38,300 funding and build a Feel Good Garden at their Denny Lane site, where Valley Fest is held. They currently grow delicious vegetables and, if successful, they’ll be able to create a special, shared community space, where social and mental wellbeing is supported, and where old and young can interact to learn new skills, build friendships and get closer to the natural environment. It would be awesome!
But they’re up against four other regional projects. So they need your help! The one with the most public votes, wins. Voting closes at noon on Monday 15 April 2019. They have two weeks to make their garden dream a reality. Can you support them?
You don’t have to live in the region to vote. Valley Fest fans from across the UK can take part, and back this bid.
