Valley Fest will be back in 2026 with an even better eleventh festival.
We are an award-winning, family friendly, food and music festival and we celebrated our tenth birthday in style last weekend (1-4th August 2024)
Thousands of people flocked to the side of Chew Valley Lake for plenty of wholesome fun in the glorious sun. We were recently named the UK’s most beautiful festival, was the “best one ever”, according to the huge crowd it attracted over the weekend.
As well as big name acts, from the likes of Sophie Ellie Bextor, The Feeling, Tinie Tempah and Sister Sledge, the weekend showcased the region’s finest produce. This year, Thomasina Miers (OBE) and Romy Gill (MBE) were headlining the food programme. Festival goers could join feasts, watch cooking demonstrations as well as eat an array of carefully-curated street food.
Arcadia, the performance-art collective, is now firmly part of our team. The Alchemist’s Playground was in full force for the third year running. Here, the whole family got involved making structures and sculptures from recycled materials including a helicopter and aeroplane wings.
Children built their own playground with the Woodland Tribe. They danced their socks off with family favourites Junior Jungle who were entertaining as ever. By night, The Afterburner stage lit up with DJs, the Lords of Lightning tesla coil show amazed the crowds, as did the boundary-pushing fire performances, which could be admired from the whole Chew Valley.
The new Back To Mine area was a huge hit. House and disco lovers were treated to many Balearic beats all weekend amidst numerous glitterballs and sexy cocktails.
Luke Hasell, Festival Founder says:
“It was absolutely epic from start to finish. So many people answered the call to Get on My Land! As you can imagine, putting on an event like this takes a monumental amount of effort and we feel the festival deserves some incubation time to plan the next stages of our evolution.
Alongside a well-earned rest for our beautiful farm, we have made the decision to kick off our 11th year of Valley Fest in style in 2026!”
We encourage you to register your interest for an early bird 2026 ticket as well as being the first to know about the new plans by completing this form.
We will continue to offer a hedge-to-hedge Somerset sparkle with a spectacular soundtrack and a magnificent menu. The event is perfect for first-time festival goers and families of all ages. Plus it is only 9 miles from Bristol and Bath making it really accessible for the weekend.
