The Bristol based producer began his musical journey exploring his Punjabi Indian roots, blending them into a melting pot of melodic magic by merging the music of his childhood with UK Dub, Garage and Jungle, drawing club and underground Electronic influences into his rapidly evolving sound.

After years of experimentation, Indian Man began truly honing his style when he moved into his grandparents’ spare room to care for them. There, he spent his evenings playing sets and producing dance music on a midi keyboard left there from his father’s band, inspired by melodies his gran sang around the house. Soon he was taking his productions to Bristol and London clubs, and before long his body-tingling beats were discovered by Peter Gabriel’s team and label. Indian Man launched onto the international circuit, becoming a WOMAD resident DJ of Chile, Gran Canaria, and the UK, touring festivals worldwide.

Indian Man is now poised to release his debut album Gran’s House with Real World x in April 2024, blending his signature Electronic style with artists such as Emmanuel Jal, La Dame Blanche, Dobet Gnahore, and many more.
