Chainska Brassika are a Ska Reggae band, homegrown in the heart of south-east London. Their music has a unique blend of high-energy Ska rhythms, brass infused Reggae classics and smooth dulcet vocals. The band are household staples of the global Ska scene, with audiences across the UK, Europe and beyond. The band are joined by new Guitarist, Stevie Lawrence, previously of Punk syndicate The Towers of London. This musical outfit are notorious for delivering slick, rounded music, with

Chainska are World Reggae Champions and are known for having collaborated with the legendary Toots Hibbert, completed stadium tours with Madness and gracing countless festival stages from Glastonbury to Rototom Sunsplash. The band have also played historic shows at the Jazz Cafe and Notting Hill Carnival, as well as supporting The Skatalites, The Wailers, and the late Toots & the Maytals.

With continuous support from their radio champion, David Rodigan MBE, Chainska’s music is broadcast on BBC1Xtra, BBC Radio 1, 2 & 6, along with having done a BBC Maida Vale Live Sessions for Rodigan prior to its closure. In 2020 the band featured on the BBC London Robert Elms show, with an acoustic version of their single, ‘Simple Things’. The band have also been championed by underground radio extraordinaire, L.Cassio. With additional airplay on Ne1FM, Nova Radio, Soho Radio, Amazing Radio, Phonic FM, KBOO Radio, and Netherlands’ station Extra Gold Radio.
