10 things not to miss at Valley Fest

We’ve listed a few things that might not be as obvious as seeing our amazing headliners or having a feast. They might be new additions or else little-known corners that are worth exploring…

  1. Sit around the new firepit. We are celebrating the beginning of the harvest season by marking Lughnasadh on Thursday 1st August. Come and join us and have a singalong with the Bristol Sea Shanties
  2. Check out our DJ competition winners (and win bragging rights to say you heard them first at Valley Fest)

  3. See The Dark Angels – incredible dance act on at 19:05 Saturday. Be sure to catch Tankus the Henge on the lake stage Friday evening. What a way to get your weekend started…..the greatest showman meets musical mayhem.
  4. Try an ice bath or hot tub, join a fitness session – head to the Bus Stop Have a treatment (massage/facial)
  5. Check out Zentopia if you’re a teen – you’ll find it in the Alchemist’s Playground
  6. Have a sunset pint at the Tow and Hitch – we have recently been named the UK’s most beautiful festival – so make sure you soak it up!
  7. Learn how to weld from the team that brought Arcadia’s incredible Dragonfly at Glastonbury. Head to the Alchemist’s Playground to put your name down to join the free workshops
  8. Take part in our Fancy Dress competition on Sunday.
  9. Bag yourself a bargain at Yeo’s Valleys red barn. A regenerative pie, pint and pud for £10. It’s the meal deal of the festival
  10. Mark the occasion with a VF special edition 10th birthday tee. Claim your right to say “I was there!!”
